混捏机筒体内壁装有耐磨衬板，底板是圆形，由六块扇形衬板组成，中部是卸料阀，阀板表面也装有衬板。在混捏过程中，各种不同性质、不同粒度的物料在约160℃的混捏温度状况下直接与衬板接触，衬板的磨损主要来自混捏中搅起物料的冲刷，主要失效形式为磨粒磨损，衬板是混捏机的主要消耗大件，对它的国产化有着重要意义，本文详细分析了国产常用耐磨材料的使用性能，并归纳介绍了近几年来发展起来的准贝氏体耐磨钢的耐磨原理及组织性能，在混捏机国产衬板上作了尝试。

搅刀国产化是此次混捏机备件国产化的重点，一是因为搅刀是混捏机的核心部件，物料的混捏质量状况与搅刀有作直接的关系；二是因为搅刀是混捏机最大的磨损件和消耗件，而搅刀制作难度大、工艺复杂，需从类似备件制作上参考经验；三是从成本和时间上考虑，不可能一直依靠进口件，必须尽早实现搅刀的国产化。
进口搅刀的耐磨层是在搅刀基体表面焊一层硬质合金，在后续设备运转中可以看出，耐磨效果比较好。结合到国内制造技术水平，本次搅刀的国产化采用两种方式分别试验，即表层用钎焊的方法镶嵌硬质合金和在搅刀表层堆焊碳化钨耐磨焊条，两种备件加工出来后上线检验，观测使用效果。堆焊搅刀表现出良好的耐磨性和经济性。
