2) Note the folder that each dll which shows up in the list is located. You will have to determine which installation folder corresponds to which version of SolidWorks. If you have multiple folders showing up called SolidWorks (2) for example, you can find out which version it is by searching for the file sldworks.exe and launching it to see which version of SolidWorks starts.
3) Make sure SolidWorks is closed and access the command prompt. Type:
regsvr32 "[path to dll]"
In the above sample, [path to dll] would be replaced with the exact location of the parametricobject.dll for the version you wish to use. For example if you desired to use 2008, you would enter the path to the parametricobject.dll in your 2008 installation directory:
regsvr32 "C:Program FilesSolidWorksSimulationWorksParametricObject.dll"
This will ensure that the correct version of the dll is registered for the version of SimulationWorks you will be using once you start SolidWorks. You may have to do this every time since dll's can become registered and unregistered frequently.
